As shower remodel professionals, my brother & I were routinely installing shower shelf products that were poorly designed, poorly constructed, and made from substandard materials. So we decided to make our own – a corner shower shelf, niche shelf, and a finished SS shower niche that exceeded our customer’s expectations – shelves for the shower that check all the boxes.
Unhappy about your slippery shower shelf?

Since 316 is used extensively in labs and on seagoing vessels, it has earned a reputation of corrosion resistance that’s unmatched. When we considering the problem of hard water corrosion, and the increased use of corrosive bleach-based cleaning products in the shower, we felt it was time for our shower products to be fabricated exclusively with this hearty steel alloy.

Because of their 3mm thickness, Redblock rb3 shelves for shower install into standard 1/8″ grout lines (or larger), which makes them a breeze to install. Our corner shelf installs in minutes into new or existing tiled shower walls; and our niche shelf installs into most prefab tile-ready niches. Our finished stainless steel niche installs into any new shower wall in less than 1/2 hour during shower wall construction.
Concerned about shelf strength?
With Redblock shelves for shower, you can put your concerns aside. Our rb3 shelf install tabs are 3mm thick, making them much stronger than the competitors’ shelves (with their flimsy 1/16″ install tabs). Their thickness (3mm), also makes them crazy rigid; less than 1mm deflection during with an 11 lb. weight test. And the shelves in our SS niches are welded to the 1.2mm side body, for incredible strength and waterproof integrity.
Worried about corner shelf storage area?
Our rb3 Corner Shelves for shower come in two sizes. The Standard size has 31.2 square inch storage area, and the XL shelf is 30% larger. The rounded corners of both these shelves allow it to extend out from the corner 2″ less than the competition but with the same storage area. And if you need even more corner storage, you can stack them in the corner vertically, for as much storage as you like.

Pissed that your corner shelves only fit into perfectly square shower corners?
If your shower corner is not 90 degrees (most showers), a standard corner shelf simply cannot attach firmly to both walls. In contrast, the rb3m corner shower shelf attaches to the wall with two install tabs that extend out 1 inch from the main shelf body (patented design). This allows our shelf to be installed into virtually any shower, whether the corner of your shower is greater or less than 90 degrees.
Irked about damp and moldy washing puffs and washcloths?
When you’re finished showering, just hang up your washing puff, brush, cloth or loofah on one of the rb3’s accessory hangers. When you enter the shower the next day, you’ll find a dry washing puff. What a treat!.
