Install Shower Shelf on Tile Wall
Step-by-Step Installation
Step 1 – Determine Shelf Height
Select a shelf height that provides easy access and aligns with a horizontal grout line.
Step 2 – Mark Install Location
Mark the grout joints where the shelf’s installation tabs will insert.
Step 3 – Grout Removal
Remove grout at the marked locations to create notches being careful not to chip the upper and lower tiles.
Step 4 – Clean Notches and Dry Fit
Clear debris from the notches and dry fit to confirm a correct fit and that the tabs recess a full 1/4 inch into the notches.
Step 5 – Seal and Install Shelf
Apply silicone sealant, insert the shelf tabs, and clean excess sealant for a watertight finish.
