RB3m Shower Niche Shelf - 316 Stainless Steel

Your not alone. Most of our clients complain the most about two things: Their bar soap slipping off their shower shelves, OR it turns to mush in a pool of water. Fortunately, the rounded drainage slots on the rb3m niche shelf solves both problems.

Since the Redblock rb3m niche shelf attaches only to the side wall of your niche, a 1/2 – 3/4 inch gap remains behind the shelf. This effectively eliminates soap scum buildup in the back corners of your niche shelf, AND makes it super easy to clean!

The Redblock rb3m shelf is the only shower niche shelf made from super corrosion resistant, low carbon, 316L stainless steel. We’ve recognized the increased use of chlorinated shower cleaning products since the pandemic, and the effect of hard water on standard 304 Grade stainless steel. And since 316 Grade stainless steel is the standard for laboratory & marine environments, it only seemed natural that we also use it in our shower shelf products.

Because of its 3mm thickness, the Redblock rb3m niche shelf easily fits into standard 1/8″ grout lines. A stark contrast to those clumsy 4mm shelves that force you to cut the side and back wall tiles because it won’t fit into the grout line… you know which ones I mean.

With the rb3 niche shelf, you can put your worries aside. It’s a super solid 3mm thick, and has been tested at 11 lbs, with less than 1mm deflection. That means it can handle whatever shampoo bottles and toiletries you might want to store on it… and then some.

Redblock has created a new standard of shower shelf finishing: CNC chamfering. One the finest of steel fabrication/ finishing techniques, CNC tooling creates ultra smooth, burr-free edges on all shelf edges and cutouts. A level of refinement you won’t find in any other shower shelf on the market.

The rb3m niche shelf attaches only to the side walls of your niche, so you don’t need to cut a slot into the back wall tiles to make room for the shelf (as with other bathroom niche shelves). That means you’re free to install the niche back wall tiles before installing your shelf, AND be as creative as you like with your tile selection.

When you’re finished showering, just hang up your washing puff, brush, cloth or loofah on one of the rb3m’s accessory hangers. What a treat to have a dry wash cloth or washing puff ready for your next shower!
