Slots that keep your bar soap in place, yet are still easy to keep clean.
Tired of water pooling on your shelf?Since the Redblock rb3m shower corner shelf attaches to the wall via two tabs that extend out from the shelf body, a 3/4 inch gap remains behind most of the shelf. This eliminates water pooling, which in turn eliminates scummy buildup along the wall, AND helps keep your soap from melting into a lump of goo.
Worried about rust on your shower shelf?The Redblock rb3m corner shelf is the only corner shower shelf made from super corrosion resistant, 316L stainless steel. Since 316 is used extensively in labs and on seagoing vessels, it has earned a reputation of corrosion resistance that can’t be matched. And with the problem of hard water corrosion, and the increased use of corrosive cleaners in the shower, we felt it was time for our shower products to be fabricated using this hearty steel alloy.
Stressed about installation?Because of it’s 3mm thickness, the Redblock rb3m shower corner shelf easily installs into standard 1/8″ grout lines. And because of it’s patented offset install tabs, it installs as easily into an existing shower wall as it does into a new shower wall, simply by removing a bit of grout.
Concerned about shelf strength?With the rb3 corner shelf, you can put your worries aside. Both the shelf AND the install tabs are 3mm thick, making it much stronger than the competition (with their flimsy 1/16″ install tabs). Our patented offset install tabs also provide a crazy amount of rigidity – less than 1mm deflection during with an 11 lb. weight test. That’s enough to handle whatever shampoo bottles and toiletries you might want to store on it… and then some.
Worried about storage area on your corner shelf?Our rb3 corner shower shelf has a full 31.2 square inch effective storage area, exactly the same as the competitor’s triangle shaped stainless corner shelves, yet ours extends out only 6 1/2 inches along each wall, compared to their 8 1/4 inches. Plenty of room for most standard showers with one or two users. Need more space? – You can stack as many as you like for an almost infinite increase in shower shelf storage area.

Pissed that corner shelves are only designed fit into perfectly square shower corners?If your shower corner is not 90 degrees (most showers, btw), a standard corner shelf simply cannot attach firmly to both walls. In contrast, the rb3m corner shower shelf attaches to the wall with two install tabs that extend out 1 inch from the main shelf body (patented design). This design allows our shelf to be installed firmly and solidly into virtually any shower, whether the corner angle is greater than 90 degrees, or less than 90.
Irked about damp and moldy washing puffs and washcloths?When you’re finished showering, just hang up your washing puff, brush, cloth or loofah on one of the rb3m’s accessory hangers. When you enter the shower the next day, you’ll find a dry washing puff. What a treat!

FAQ
Q: Can your shelf be installed in an existing tiled shower?
A: Yes. Our corner shelf is designed to be installed in the grout line of any existing shower OR new shower as long as the grout lines are 1/8″ wide or larger. For existing showers, you only need to remove two, 2″ sections of grout to allow room for the install tabs.
Q: From the product pictures it looks like there is a gap behind the shelf. Am I seeing things?
A: Yes, there is indeed a 3/4″ gap between our shelf and the wall. Only the 2″ install tabs are in contact with the wall. We designed it this way to prevent the common corner shelf problem of soap scum buildup in the corners. It also makes it a lot easier to clean.
Q: What does 316 moly stainless steel mean?
A: 316 stainless steel is a highly corrosion resistant stainless steel alloy due to its 2% molybdenum content. 304 SS is still very corrosion resistant but it doesn’t perform well when exposed to corrosive cleaning agents like chlorine bleach or hard water. Although 316 SS is significantly more expensive than 304, we believe that its use in the shower is very appropriate because of the harsh chemical cleaners that are routinely used here. And the increased use of chlorine bleach during the pandemic further justifies the use of 316 fixtures and fittings in the shower.
Q: Can your shelf be installed in a shower with 1/16″ grout lines?
A: Our corner shelf can definitely be installed into a new shower with 1/16″ grout lines. You only need to cut away 1/16″ of the tile below the install leg locations for this to work. However, it would not be that easy in an existing shower because cutting the tile below the grout line might be difficult. You should measure your grout lines first because 1/16″ grout lines are often a bit bigger than 1/16″ so the tile below might not need to be cut.
Q: Can the rb3 corner shelf be installed if my shower corner is not square (not at a right angle)?
A: Yes! Because the rb3 Shower Corner Shelf has two protruding install legs, it can be installed in the corner of even the most wonky, non-square shower walls. You will probably need to adjust the spacing for the 2 installation legs slightly, depending on the angle of your corner.
